Authorities in Nigeria have detained two senior executives of Binance, a company that engages in daily trading of cryptocurrencies.
Their passports have also been seized.
One of them is said to be an American, and the other a Briton.
Their arrest follows an order from the office of Nigeria's national security adviser.
