EU hosts Indo-Pacific representatives with a focus on growing Chinese influence in the region

EU foreign ministers are gathering in Brussels on Friday for an annual meeting with their counterparts from countries in the Indo-Pacific region.

The talks are seen by EU officials as an opportunity to strengthen ties with countries in the region amidst China's growing influence.
