National Rifle Association head, Wayne LaPierre resigns

Embattled head of the National Rifle Association, Wayne LaPierre has resigned.
LaPierre headed the U.S' largest gun-rights group for close to three
decades and is set to go on trial in New York for alleged corruption
at the nonprofit organization.
