India launched its first satellite to study black holes

The Indian Space Research Organization has kicked off 2024 with a new satellite launch – aimed at studying cosmic bodies like black holes.

It's only the second such mission in the world after the US Space Agency NASA launched a similar mission in 2021 to study the physics of faraway astronomical objects.
