ICJ to judge on Ukraine's case accusing Russia of funding terrorism and racial discrimination

The International Court of Justice will hand down a verdict on Wednesday on Ukraine's allegations filed in 2017, that Russia had funded terrorism by backing a separatist uprising in Ukraine's eastern region ten years ago, and that Moscow had discriminated against Crimea's Tatar minority since its annexation of the peninsula. Ukraine is also asking the court to order Russia to pay reparations for the attacks carried out in the east including the downing of the Malaysian Airlines Flight 17 in July 2014.
