French president hails Jacques Delors, the 'father of Europe' at tribute to late politician

Emmanuel Macron has hailed the former head of the European Commission Jacques Delors, who many called 'the father of Europe', and who oversaw the introduction of the single market and the single currency.

Delors died on 27 December at the age of 98.
