President Joe Biden is making a major speech (later today, Friday) to mark three years since the deadly assault on the US Capitol building, during which he'll suggest his top rival for the Oval Office, Donald Trump, poses an existential threat to democracy.
The address at a historic Revolutionary War site comes a day before the anniversary of the riot on January 6th 2021, when a mob of supporters of then-President Trump stormed the United States Congress in Washington DC in an effort to overturn election defeat.
