A Mickey Mouse horror film announced as the earlier versions of the character enters the public domain

As the first pictures of Mickey Mouse entered the public domain after
Disney's copyright expired on Monday, horror movie producers are
wasting no time in capitalizing on it.
A horror movie based on Mickey's cartoon debut will go into production
this spring, it'll be directed by Steven LaMorte.
