UN Secretary General gravely concerned about the escalation of violence in the Middle East

United Nations Secretary General, Antonio Guterres says he is
extremely alarmed by the resumption of hostilities between Israel and
Hamas.
Fighting between the two sides intensified on Friday following several
days of reprieve.
The UN's relief agency chief has also sounded the alarm saying the
number of civilians killed in Gaza "is rapidly increasing".
