Putin welcomed the reported advance of Russian troops in eastern Ukraine, saying control over the embattled town of Maryinka would help push Ukrainian combat units away from Donetsk. The Russian President also hailed newly built navy ships fitted to carry Moscow's newest Zircon hypersonic missiles - a potent weapon capable of penetrating any existing anti-missile defenses by flying times faster than the speed of sound.
