The first international summit dedicated to glaciers and poles is under way in Paris.
The 'One Planet: Polar Summit' is among the events in the French capital tied to the upcoming Paris Peace Forum which begins on Friday.
The theme for this year's Paris Peace Forum is "Seeking Common Ground in a World of Rivalry".
