EU pushes back on sanctioning Hamas

The European Union has pushed back against US and Israeli pressure to sanction Hamas for its October 7th attack. European diplomats have said that while they condemn Hamas' atrocities, sanctions and escalating military violence won't bring lasting peace to the region.
