A bipartisan delegation of US Senators will visit China, Japan and South Korea this month, with hopes of meeting Chinese President Xi Jinping.
In a rare show of unity on Capitol Hill, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer, a Democrat, confirmed on Tuesday that six lawmakers, led by Republican Party's Mike Crapo, will set off to Asia next week, following trips to Beijing by a series of senior Biden administration officials earlier in the summer.
