Washington is preparing to enter another week without a House Speaker,
after Republican nominee Jim Jordan was removed on Friday after losing
three rounds of voting.
The former Speaker Kevin McCarthy is now backing party whip Tom Emmer.
Emmer has spent the weekend trying to lock in support from all sides
of the party.
Republicans are reportedly scheduled to hold a secret-ballot election
to nominate a new candidate on Tuesday.
Earlier McCarthy told NBC Emmer is the best man for the job.
