A member of one of America's most famous political families - Robert F
Kennedy Junior- is expected to announce he's splitting from the
Democratic party and running for president as an independent
candidate.
While Kennedy's bid for the Democratic presidential nomination was
largely inconsequential - with President Biden holding a 50-point
advantage in primary polling - as an independent candidate he could
play a role in determining the winner of the general election.
