A member of one of America's most famous political families - Robert F
Kennedy Junior- has announced he's splitting from the Democratic party
and running for president as an independent candidate.
While Kennedy's bid for the Democratic presidential nomination was
largely inconsequential as an independent candidate he could play a
role in determining the winner of the general election.
His siblings issued a statement denouncing the move saying that
running as a third party candidate against Joe Biden would be perilous
for the country.
