A mob of anti-Israeli protesters stormed an airport in Dagestan, in Russia's North Caucasus region, predominantly inhabited by muslims. The rioters were reportedly searching for Israeli passengers of flights arriving from Tel Aviv, demanding to stop them from entering Dagestan. Local authorities and religious leaders denounced the riot as severe violation of law, calling on people to avoid provocations igniting religious hatred. Daria Bondarchuk reports from Moscow.
