Pope Francis leaves door open to blessings for same-sex couples

Ahead of an international gathering of bishops at the Vatican, Pope Francis has left the door open to priests being allowed to bless same-sex couples.

The Catholic Church teaches that marriage is only allowed between a man and a woman.
