Israel readies troops for Gaza offensive as fuel runs out in Gaza

Israel says it has hundreds of thousands of troops on the border with
Gaza ahead of a possible ground invasion of the Palestinian terrority.

The death toll in Israel has climbed to 1,200, while authorities in
Gaza say more than 1,000 people have died in Israeli air strikes.

In Gaza, the only power station has run out of fuel, cutting
electricity to hospitals trying to treat the injured.
