The Israeli military says it has carried out a limited raid into Gaza
to try and rescue hostages held by Hamas.
Around 150 people were taken by militant fighters last Saturday,
including 14 Americans.
US President Joe Biden spoke by their families on Friday morning.
Meanwhile, Israel has given 1.1 million people living in northern Gaza
24 hours to leave ahead of an expected ground assault by Israeli
troops.
