US lawmakers are returning to the House floor this Friday in another
attempt to elect a Speaker.
Jim Jordan is pressing ahead with his bid - despite tough stiff and
mounting opposition from his Republican colleagues.
The House has been without a speaker for 17 days, meaning Congress is
unable to pass any new legislation.
Speaking at the Capitol earlier, Jordan says he's determined to keep fighting.
INTRO: "The quickest..."
OUTRO: "...Speaker."
