Lawmakers in the United States have narrowly voted to remove Kevin McCarthy as House of Representatives Speaker — the first time that's ever happened in American history.
Congressman Matt Gaetz, a far-right Republican politician, led the charge to oust the man who was, until now, the second-in-line of succession for the US Presidency.
