The Israeli government says a total blockade of Gaza will continue until all the hostages held by Hamas are released.
US Secretary of State Antony Blinken has told Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu that Israel will always have America's support…but after meetings in Tel Aviv he warned also warned the Israeli leader to take every possible precaution to avoid harming civilians in Gaza.
