President Biden says he still hopes to free the country's hostages held by Hamas in the Gaza Strip.
The White House now says there are still 17 Americans unaccounted for in Israel, and at an event with Jewish community leaders at the White House, he confirmed that US military assistance is now flowing towards Israel as it continues its bombardment of Gaza.
