AUSTRIA BEGINS WORK TO TURN HITLER'S OLD HOUSE INTO POLICE STATION

Remodelling work has started on a building near Salzburg where Adolf Hitler was born. 

Authorities want to convert the disused building into a police station, despite some pushback from local residents.
