2.2 Billion people in India and Pakistan could face deadly heat: Study

Intro:

Climate change could make much of India, Pakistan, China, and Sub-Saharan Africa inhospitable by the end of this century, according to a new study.

A research report from the Penn State College of Health and Human Development says if the global temperature rises by 1.5 degrees Celsius above pre-industrial levels – the repercussions, could be catastrophic.
