U.S. auto workers extend strikes

Auto workers in the U.S. are expanding strike action as they continue
to seek better wages from three major car manufacturers.

Roughly 7,000 people at Ford and GM assembly plants are walking off
the job Friday bring the total number of workers on the picket lines
to 25,000.
