Turkey’s Erdogan and Russia’s Putin to discuss possible grain deal in Sochi

Turkey's President arrived in Sochi in southern Russia with a view to convince his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin to restart the expired "Black Sea grain initiative" that Moscow pulled out from in July. The possible outcome of the talks is in question, as Vladimir Putin had previously insisted he will not return to the grain deal until his demands, facilitating Russia's own food and fertiliser exports, are met.
