The army in the Democratic Republic of Congo has accused the M23 rebels of reoccupying villages in the east of their country in total violation of a ceasefire deal brokered by leaders of the East African Community.
The spokesperson of the Congolese army has described the move as a provocation. More than a million people have been displaced by the fighting between the rebels and the government forces since last year. Chris Ocamringa has more from Kinshasa..
