Oil Retailers in Nigeria forecast further rise in Pump Price of Petrol to reach $1.17 dollars in the next few months.
They cited the widening gap in the exchange rate between the naira and the dollar, needed to import the fuel into the country for this likely increase.
The government stopped paying subsidies on petrol in May leaving the price to be determined by the cost of imports.
