Japan’s government is boosting financial support for the fishing sector after China placed a blanket ban on the country's seafood.
The ban is in protest to Tokyo’s decision to begin discharging treated water, used to cool the wrecked Fukushima Nuclear Power Plant, into the ocean last month.
