Canada's Defence Minister Bill Blaire says India-Canada relations are important, as tensions remain high between the two nations.
Last week Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said that Canada has credible allegations linking Indian operatives to the murder of a Canadian Sikh separatist leader Hardeep Singh Nijjar who was branded a terrorist by New Delhi.
India has denied these allegations - calling them absurd and motivated.
