The International Court of Justice (ICJ) in the Hague (Netherlands) is hearing a case brought by Ukraine against Russia, accusing it of falsely applying the so-called "genocide law" to justify its 2022 invasion. Ukraine took Russia to court, the highest UN judicial body court for disputes between the states days after Vladimir Putin launched a full-scale war against the neighbouring country on 24 February 2022. Russia has protested, saying the ICJ has no jurisdiction to rule on the case. Daria Bondarchuk reports from Moscow.
