GERMANY GIVES 40 INFANTRY FIGHTING VEHICLES TO UKRAINE

Germany has announced a multimillion dollar defence package for Ukraine, pledging dozens of specialised army vehicles for the country.

The 'Marder' Infantry Fighting Vehicle, which offers enhanced protection to troops during transport in combat zones, is seen as critical to Ukraine's counteroffensive.
