Beijing claims BRI has boosted Italian exports after foreign minister visit

Beijing says Rome's participation in the Belt & Road Initiative or BRI has led to a boost in exports from Italy to China.

The Italian Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani met his Chinese counterpart Wang Yi in Beijing on Monday, with Rome reportedly preparing to pull out of the BRI by the end of 2023.
