UK police forces are probably unlawfully storing the sensitive data of millions of former suspects — and those who have never been charged with a crime — according to an investigation by British rights organisations.
They found the UK's biometrics watchdog — which is responsible for protecting citizens' private data — has repeatedly warned the police they're breaching data rules.
