Trump prepares for historic third indictment

Former US president Donald Trump is preparing to appear in federal
court in Washington DC to be formally charged over his attempts to
overturn the 2020 presidential election result.

Trump says the charges - including conspiracy to defraud the United
States - are politically motivated, and a way for the Democrats to
stop his re-election bid.
