UN pleads with Russia to return to Grain Deal

The United Nations humanitarian chief, Martin Griffiths has appealed
to Russia to return to the Black Sea Grain deal.
Speaking at the Security Council on Friday, Griffiths together with
his colleague for Peacebuilding Affair, Rosemary DiCarlo stressed the
importance of the deal that has since put the lives of millions in
danger of hunger.
Earlier this week, Russia withdrew from the deal which allowed for the
safe passage of food through the Black Sea despite the war.
