Russian President Vladimir Putin met with the chief of the "Wagner" mercenary group Yevgeny Prigozhin in Moscow, days after the paramilitary group's June revolt, the Kremlin spokesman acknowledged. The meeting lasted almost three hours, dozens of fighters were invited to take part. President Putin addressing the Russian public the day after the aborted mutiny called it a "stab in the back" and pledged sever punishment to Russia's traitors.
