Nigeria's Federal Government has confirmed the first case of Anthrax Virus on an animal farm in the country's north central region.
Anthrax is a severe bacterial disease that affects both humans and animals.
Government officials say a Rapid Response team comprising federal and state Health Professional workers have visited the farm to conduct preliminary investigations and also collected samples from the sick animals.
