The Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS), says terrorist attacks are increasing in the sub-region.
So far in 2023, more than one thousand, eight hundred cases of terror attacks have been recorded.
And while insecurity is worsening in the sub region, there are also concerns about political instability in some countries in West Africa.
