US President Joe Biden has signed a proclamation creating a National Monument for Emmett Till and his mother on what would have been his 82nd birthday.
Emmett Till was black teenager who was lynched in 1955 — his death and the activist of his mother Mamie Till-Mobley helped galvanise the civil rights movement in America.
