European rocket- the Ariane 5- blasts off on final flight

The European rocket, Ariane 5, has blasted off on its final flight after nearly 30 years of service in space.

Taking off from the spaceport in French Guiana for its 117th and final flight, the final payload on Ariane 5 is a French military satellite and a German communications satellite.
