US President Joe Biden has hailed the "enormous opportunities" offered by artificial intelligence ... but also warned of its "risks," as he announced new safeguards to protect Americans from the advanced technology.
Seven companies — including Amazon, Google, Meta and Microsoft — have voluntarily signed up to the measures, pledging to strive for "safety, security and trust."
