130,000 police officers deployed in France to calm tensions ahead of national day parade

This year, for Bastille Day, the French national day on Friday July 14, the government has announced an unprecedented security operation.

130,000 police officers are being deployed in France to try to minimize the risk of more riots, following the urban violence across the country earlier this month.
