The Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) and the Trade Union Congress (TUC) have suspended their planned strike scheduled for Wednesday.
The decision followed a meeting by the representatives of the Federal Government and the Organised Labour at the Presidential Villa over fuel subsidy removal.
The decision also comes just hours after an industrial court stopped the two main labour unions from going on the indefinite strike this week to protest the removal of petrol subsidy.
