India's PM Chairs High Level Meeting to Review Manipur Ethnic Violence

Nearly two months since ethnic clashes first broke out in India's north eastern state of Manipur, the region remains tense with more than 40,000 security forces still deployed there.

On Monday, India's Prime Minister chaired a high-level meeting where he was briefed on the security situation in the state.

More than a hundred people have died and over 40,000 people displaced in the region since the clashes first began in early May.
