Amazon agrees to $30 million settlement over privacy violations

Amazon has agreed to settlements of more than 30 million dollars with the Federal Trade Commission over alleged privacy violations involving its Ring and Alexa products.

The FTC accused the online retail giant of improperly holding on to children's user data in order to help improve its algorithm.
