Treasury: US will default on June 5th if no deal reached

The US Treasury has warned the US will run out of money on June 5th if
a deal is not agreed to raise the debt ceiling.

Democrats and Republicans have been negotiating for several weeks to
try and increase the country's borrowing limit to avert an
unprecedented default.
