The Federal Reserve is meeting this week and Wall Street will be keen
to see whether recent weak economic data will weigh on its decision
making.
Inflation remains high in the U.S. but some analysts believe a slowing
economy could force the Central Bank to cool off its pace of interest
rate increases.
